Greater Cambridge Local Plan – Residents Association & Parish Councils workshop, Tuesday, 1st Dec 2-4pm via Zoom
This will explore the emerging evidence base findings and spatial options assessment for the Plan prior to the Preferred Option consultation in 2021 and include breakout groups to understand perspectives and priorities.
The Local Plan team say spaces are limited, so book your place using Eventbrite as soon as you can. If you can’t make this date, there will be a public Q&A webinar on the 2nd December, but this will not include breakout groups for more detailed discussion.
Please register one person per group so that they can accommodate representatives from as many groups as possible. They will run a waiting list if the workshop becomes fully booked. Any questions email: localplan@greatercambridgeplanning.org
Planning Advisory Service Review of City Planning Committee with Residents Associations via Focus Group
This is to enable residents to provide feedback on issues such as the scheme of delegation, adjourned decision protocol etc. Concerns were raised about this previously.

Water Resources East(WRE) Systematic Conservation Planning Workshops
WRE say the material gathered will form an evidence base for the Greater Cambs Local Plan.
“Water Resources East is teaming up with Biodiversify and WWF – UK with the financial support of The Coca-Cola Foundation to develop a natural capital plan for Eastern England. This plan will be stakeholder led and will seek to identify where natural capital action should be prioritised across the landscape in order to deliver outcomes for nature, water and society”

WRE Systematic Conservation Planning Workshop 3rd November 2020
“In this webinar we will help you understand and establish what objectives and actions are in the SCP process. We will then ask and show you how to submit the objections and actions you would like included. We will compile a draft which we will share and finalise before Christmas”.
